| Cemeteries
|
|
We are openly invited to collaborative
efforts initiated by cemetery preservation advocates to assist in
preserving, protecting and restoring historic gravesites. Sometimes,
cemetery plots can be endangered, hidden or forgotten as a result
of vandalism, neglect or natural occurences.
Non-destructive GPR testing can help preserve and restore our links
to the past in cemeteries. It is also an invaluable tool in the expansion
of existing cemeteries, to ensure safe diggingand development.
Similarly, GPR can be employed as an important archaeological tactic
to identify locations of buried artifacts, much like anglers use fish-finding
apparatus on boats. |
